1. Why should I vote?

Active participation in the voting process is more than a civic duty; it's an opportunity for residents to ensure their voices resonate in the decisions shaping the community's direction. From financial strategies to amenity management and regulatory frameworks, the Board's decisions wield a direct influence on the daily lives and property values of residents. By participating in the election, homeowners exercise their right to shape these choices, understanding that each vote can shape the community's future.

A well-participated election is a powerful tool for holding the Board accountable. Homeowners, by investing time in the voting process, actively engage in the governance of the community, fostering an environment where board members are responsive to the evolving needs and desires of the residents. In the act of voting, residents gain the opportunity to select individuals who bring invaluable skills and experiences to the Board. From financial acumen to legal expertise and property management proficiency, these elected leaders shape the community's financial health and overall quality of life.

2. How are votes cast in Association elections?

Votes are cast via both paper and electronic ballot. Digital votes are cast through Vote HOA Now, while paper ballots can be requested from the Executive Director or picked up at the Association Office. Information about voting is distributed through our eNews before the Annual Meeting.

3. How will I receive voting information?

Vote HOA Now will send an email to homeowners using the email that is on file in the homeowner's HOA account portal. The email will contain information about how to vote along with a voting PIN that is unique to each voter. Homeowners will need to follow the link in the email and use their PIN to vote digitally.

4. I didn't receive the Annual Meeting notice. What do I do?

The information about the Annual Meeting will be sent to residents in three separate ways. The information will be sent via email from Vote HOA Now, by postcard from the Association, and communicated through our weekly eNews. However, your unique voter PIN will only be sent via email from Vote HOA Now. If you need your unique voter PIN, please contact Cullen Boswell at cboswell@ccmcnet.com.

5. I lost my PIN. What do I do?

6. How do I vote online?

7. I don't want to vote online. What do I do?

Paper ballots are readily available at the Association Office or can be requested through the Executive Director, Teresa Kaknevicius. Homeowners can fill out their ballot at home or in the Association Office, but ballots must be placed in the ballot box located in the Association Office prior to the Annual Meeting. Unique ballots will also be available at the Annual Meeting for attendees who haven't voted.

8. Can I run for the Board?

If you are a lot owner and in good standing with the Vistancia Village A Community Association, certainly! We encourage all residents to consider becoming involved with their community.

9. How long is the term for a Board Member?

When elected, a Board Member will serve a two-year term. At the end of their term, it is up to the Board Members if they would like to run for election again.
