The Association manages mailboxes in the community. Keys, however, are distributed through other channels. Homeowners purchasing new-build homes will receive keys from the respective builder's sales office; those purchasing a resale home should receive keys from the previous owner during closing.
Homeowners are welcome to have copies of keys produced at their own expense. If keys are lost, please notify the Association, and the mailbox will be professional re-keyed. Homeowners will be charged $50 for the re-keying. These procedures are in place to protect the integrity of the mailbox structures and avoid errors resulting in the wrong box being re-keyed.
Tenants wishing to have mailboxes re-keyed will need written permission from the homeowner. The tenant and homeowner determine who will pay the re-key fee.
